Aging Together
The Aging Together group has been meeting for 2 years. We gather monthly to share personal experiences and philosophy related to the aging process. Each session has a time for members to share resources (educational opportunities, professional articles in the aging field, health care alerts, helpful adaptive aids to make life easier as we age, etc.).
The major portion of the meeting is listening to each other's experiences, insights, and challenges related to growing older. Although we often use books and articles for selecting our topics each month, we rely primarily on group members to share their experiences and insights. Since we are all aging together, we are all in some sense experts on the topic. Allan Thorn leads the discussion.
Aging Together meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the church from 1:00 to 2:30. All are welcome.
