Book Nook

The Book Nook is open on alternate Sundays between and following services throughout the church year, offering the TUUC community enjoyable, stimulating and relevant literature.

NEW BOOKS include a variety of UU-related literature as well as a selection of well-reviewed books of current interest.

DONATED BOOKS are high-quality, low-cost books, both fact and fiction for all ages, given to the Book Nook by members of the congregation.

YEARLY PROCEEDS are evenly shared between our Outreach Council, which uses the donation to help with their projects of social responsibility such as the homeless shelter, Sarah’s Hope, and to our General Fund which helps to support TUUC.

VOLUNTEERING occasionally at the Book Nook allows ‘staff’ to attend their preferred service, and is an easy, enjoyable way to actively participate in TUUC. For newcomers especially, it’s a great way to meet and make friends.
