Saturday Night Concerts
Febuary 11 – Our own Joe Gascho and Marianna Mujica will open the evening with some Jazz stndards including Gershwin tunes and Gershwin piano solos. The main act is the Chalice Messengers.
Come hear the swinging and grooving sounds of the Chalice Messengers jazz sextet. The Messengers were founded in 2007 as part of the Jazz Program at the UU Congregation of Columbia (MD). Their repertoire includes jazz classics from the swing and bebop era, originals, and selections from the Great American Songbook. And be sure to bring your dancing shoes! Personnel are: Tom Benjamin (tenor sax and clarinet), Al McLaine (bass), Mark McPherson (drums), Tom Monroe (piano, tenor sax and flute), John Shea (alto sax) and Jim Stivers (guitar), along with some special guest vocalists.

April 14 – Spice and Friends. Spice will be performing with many
friends - some folk, some rock and some in between. If asked, Spice might
even throw in a children's song. The Baltimore Songwriter's Association
pals will definitely make an appearance. This will be a night you won't
want to miss. All proceeds will go to our social action committee to
benefit selected non-profit organizations in our community. Please join us and
relax, sing along, and have some fun!!!!

We invite you to join us
for a gathering with friends to enjoy exceptional and well known
singer/songwriters and musicians. Here’s your opportunity
to obtain a season pass for the Saturday Concerts offered from October 2011 through
April 2012. We offer reduced subscription
rates this year. The pass will cost $60 per adult, $40 per child and for full
time students, $150 for families with children under 18. By offering a season pass:

We will
be able to provide our musicians with a guaranteed base for their performance,
and·
We will provide
a base rent to TUUC for the use of the church.
So, besides
these benefits, what’s in it for you?

Season
subscribers will receive reduced prices paying $12 a show ($8 for students, $30
for families); we request $15 per adult, $10 per student and $40 per family for
non-subscribers who purchase advance tickets and $20 per person at the door.

Subscribers’
names will be kept on a list so you don’t have to worry about finding your
tickets. No need to RSVP. We’ll even
have a badge for you!

Subscribers
will be notified first about any schedule changes.

Season
subscribers won’t have to worry that the concert will be sold out.

Season
subscribers will have reserved seating until 7:20.
