“Oh, No, My Profession
(and just about everything else) Has Changed!”

In the information he provided about his service, Rev. Dr. Stephan Papa wrote: "Thank you for affirming our common bonds and purposes by inviting me to participate in an Association Sunday service with you. There has been so much change in our society that we may wonder what the future holds for us. In my thirty-five years in our ministry, my profession has changed, and I am certain there have been changes in your church, religion, personal lives, and in your professions as well." After sharing some stories, Rev. Dr. Papa will talk about what can help us deal with change and go forward into a future we see uncertainly. Although his profession has changed, his profession of faith has not.
A special collection will be taken during the service, which will be used to develop the excellence of our professional ministries through providing them continuing education programs through the UUA and grants to the UU Ministers Association, the UU Musicians Network, and the Liberal Religious Educators Association. TUUC Lay Worship Associate Aynsley Hamel will facilitate this service.
